yesterday eve and i invested in devil may cry--the box set. i mean, at first we were only going to get one and three, because ilkanta keeps telling us that dmc2 sucks, and so did kathleen's brother. but all it took was like... seven words ("but you have to finish the trilogy!") from the store clerk (who wasn't totally nerdy or creepy-looking) for us to get the box set. no willpower :|

sofar we're like. four missions into dmc1 because we're mega slow and it took us like twenty minutes to figure out how to shoot because we were like "LOLOL WE DON'T NEED NO MANUALS" (and because of it we wasted like 201948 yellow orbs dammit). oh yeah and not a moment goes by without me screaming incessantly about something. grodygrodygrody

we also bought an appropriate amount of candy to sustain us while playing. but i was like "NO, WE CAN'T GET ANYTHING HARD OR ELSE WE MIGHT CHOKE ON IT AND DIE."

we're doing really badly on normal mode. our grades have been "D", "D", but recently we got a "B." needs moar red orbs ): yes, we've done the phantom baby missions.

she's coming over again to play it today. i need to mentally prepare myself by playing as many cute flash games as possible. oh yeah and i'm a wimp and i can't play it alone, and it's the same with her WHICH IS WHY SHE COMES. i suggested we play it on the big screen tv but she said that doing so would just 'amplify the scary.' like playing it upstairs in the attic is much better.* AHHH WHY ARE WE SO WIMPY. but at least i can fight. eve just screams a lot when stuff jumps out of her and then forgets that X doesn't do anything alone and you have to press O or R1 to kill things. oh and she still doesn't understand "roll" yet.

*when i say attic i don't mean creepy cobwebs and wooden floors and lots of junk. it used to be my sister's bedroom but now she moved out so we put the TV and all the gaming jank in there. 8)

it seems like girl characters never get any justice (cough lenalee) and of course, there's a lot of force-injected gay, which is just "oh, come on." hey it's good in crack, but for the most part, it ain't canon. but then again i take everything for face value when reading/watching stuff.

and hey recommend rp's to me. i saw a war based one that looked interesting and thought about apping hibari from KHR, but i'm like "...he's not social at all" and i'm like alkjsfja. but i feel like he'd go so well there. but then again I'M BAD AT PLAYING NOTSOCIAL CHARACTERS.
